Subscriptions

The Subscribe feature allows you to automate the delivery of cloud cost reports from dashboards and Resource Explorer views. This feature is for timely, regular insights without the need to manually generate reports, helping teams maintain better control over cloud usage and take necessary actions. Reports can be delivered daily, weekly, or monthly based on user preference, providing insights into cloud cost and usage.

Subscription Configuration

To set up a subscription, you should configure the following options:

  1. Provide a name for the subscription.
  2. Choose either a Dashboard or a Resource Explorer report as the source of the report.
  3. Define the Frequency with options for daily, weekly, or monthly schedules.
  • Daily
    • Select the number of day intervals (e.g., every 1 day, every 2 days).
    • Specify the exact time of day for the report to be sent.
  • Weekly
    • Select one or multiple days of the week.
    • Choose the number of week intervals (e.g., every 1 week, every 2 weeks).
    • Specify the exact time of day for the report.
  • Monthly
    • Two scheduling options are available:
      • By weekday: Select a combination of “On the first/second/third/fourth/last” with a weekday, then specify the time of day.
      • By date: Select “On day” and specify a specific day of the month (e.g., 1st or 15th) and time.
  1. Choose the Format: PDF, CSV, or both.
  2. Specify Recipients
  • Select notification methods: Email and/or Slack.
  • Add an optional message for notifications.

Subscriptions Page

All subscriptions are centralized in the Subscriptions page.

  • You can create a new subscription directly from this page by selecting the source whether Billing Report or Dashboard, then clarifying the exact dashboard or report the subscription should be tied to.
  • Additionally, the Subscribe button is available on every Billing Report and Dashboard page:
    • Clicking the button opens a drawer that displays all existing subscriptions related to that specific report or dashboard.
    • From the same drawer, you can also create a new subscription or jump to the Manage All button to open the centralized Subscriptions page.
