Users and Roles

User Management Functions:

  • Invite Users: You can invite new users to join your project, facilitating collaboration and access to project resources.
  • Delete Users: This function allows you to remove existing users from the project, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access.

Permission Sets

Cloudchipr supports different user roles with specific permissions. Please see those below

  • Owner

    The Owner has comprehensive access to the platform, including all admin capabilities plus the exclusive right to invite users. This role is typically reserved for the primary project stakeholders.
  • Super Admin

    The Super Admin has full access to all services and actions, including user management. They can add, remove users, and manage user roles.
  • Admin

    Admins are granted full access to all Cloudchipr features, with the exception of inviting users.
  • Viewer

    Viewers can view resources and send notifications, but they cannot make changes or execute actions on them.
  • Billing Admin

    Billing administrators can manage Cloudchipr billing by adding or removing credit card details, downloading invoices, and other related tasks. They do not have access to the Cloud accounts or resources.
  • Workflow Resources Protector

    Users in the Workflow Resources Protector role can only View and Protect resources through a Private Link shared by automation workflow grace period notifications. They cannot perform any actions on resources or see anything else in Cloudchipr.
  • Billing Explorer Admin

    Billing Explorer Admin has full access to all billing data and settings. They can manage billing report views, subscriptions, alerts, and budgets. Has read-only access to all other Cloudchipr features.
