Overview

Cloudchipr provides off-Hours recommendations. It will show all Virtual Machines and Databases that have been periodically idle for the last 14 days and recommend a one-click button to schedule an off-Hours workflow for the recommended time periods.

We have two types of Off Hours recommendations: Compute Instance Recommendations and SQL Database Recommendations.

Filter Options

Users can filter recommendations based on the following criteria:

• Cloud Providers
• Accounts
• Resource Types

Dismissing Options

Users have several options to dismiss recommendations:

• Dismiss for 7 days
• Dismiss for 1 month
• Dismiss for 3 months
• Dismiss
• Dismiss by resource

Automatic Restoration

• Dismissing for a specific period will automatically restore the recommendation after the selected period.

Manual Restoration

• The "Dismiss" action will dismiss the recommendation until the user manually restores it.

Dismiss by Resource

• Dismissing by resource will dismiss all current and future recommendations related to the specific resource.
